Basic Salary: MYR 7,000.00 to MYR 10,000.00
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly capable and experienced Probe Card Operation Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our probe card repair facility. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth transition following the technical knowledge transfer from our overseas business partner. Additionally, this role will provide technical support to the sales and marketing team to enhance customer engagement and solution delivery.
Academic Qualifications:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in engineering, or related field.
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry specifically on wafer-sort or probe card technologies (Cantilever, Vertical, Mems).
- Hands-on experience with probe card repair, failure analysis, or test hardware support is highly preferred.
- 2 to 3 years of experience in managerial or leadership role within probe card, test hardware, or wafer-sort operations is an added advantage.
- Experience in technology transfer or participation in international collaboration projects is also a plus.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations & Resource Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the local probe card repair team, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to quality standards, and efficient turnaround.
- Manage resources, schedules, and priorities to meet customer and business demands.
- Take full operational ownership post-knowledge transfer from overseas partners, maintaining documentation, standardized processes, and best practices.
2. Team Development & Training
- Mentor and develop the local team through hands-on training and performance development.
- Ensure team competency in probe card repair methods, inspection techniques, and quality control standards.
3. Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
- Drive continuous improvement in repair processes, documentation, and testing protocols.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, customer specifications, and industry best practices.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with engineering, supply chain, quality, and business development teams to support company goals.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on operational performance, team readiness, and future capacity planning.
5. Technical Support for Sales & Marketing
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the sales and marketing teams during customer engagements.
- Assist in preparing technical presentations, responding to RFQs, and offering solutions tailored to customer requirements.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strong technical knowledge of probe card technology and semiconductor wafer-sort processes, with hands-on experience in probe card repair and maintenance.
- Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage operations effectively.
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to coordinate with both internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and cross-cultural environment.
